Step 1

Tell Us About Your Project

Submit the 60-second form on our homepage or call (833) TSC-CONC. We need just enough info to know if we're a fit and to schedule the site visit.

  • What you want poured — driveway, patio, slab, pool deck, sidewalk, retaining wall, garage floor, repair work
  • Approximate size — square footage or dimensions (rough is fine — we'll measure on site)
  • Address and timeline — ASAP, 1-3 months, or just gathering info
  • Optional: photos of the area — helpful for context but not required at this stage
Step 2

Site Visit + Written Estimate

Within 24-48 hours of your form submission, we visit the site. Concrete work demands a real look — we don't quote over the phone. The visit takes about 30 minutes for most residential projects.

  • We measure properly — actual square footage, not estimates from photos
  • We check the soil and grade — sub-base requirements vary by neighborhood and lot
  • We discuss finishes — broom, exposed aggregate, stamped, integral color, sealers
  • Written line-item estimate — sub-base, rebar, concrete, finishing, sealing, cleanup — all itemized so you know what you're paying for
  • Permit costs broken out — if your job needs a city permit, we include the fee separately
Step 3

Schedule + Pour Day

Most residential projects schedule within 1-2 weeks of estimate acceptance. Foundation work and engineered slabs may take 2-4 weeks for permit + engineering. We give you a clear date before the contract.

  • Permit pull — we handle city/county permits where required
  • Demo + sub-base prep — remove old concrete (if any), compact crushed stone, grade properly
  • Forms + rebar — set wood forms, place #4 rebar grid on chairs, doweled to existing slabs where applicable
  • Pour + finish — 4,000-PSI concrete from local ready-mix supplier, hand-finished, control joints cut within 24 hours
  • Cure + seal — 7 days before traffic, 28 days for full strength, sealed with UV-rated sealer after cure
  • Cleanup + walkthrough — site cleaned, forms removed, final walkthrough with you
FAQ

Common Questions About the Process

Do you charge for site visits or estimates?

No. Site visits and written estimates are free, no obligation. You see the line-item quote, and you decide whether to move forward.

How long does a typical driveway take from start to finish?

From demo to drive-on: 7-10 days for most residential driveways. The pour itself is one day; the rest is sub-base prep, forming, curing, and joint cutting. We don't let anyone drive on it for 7 days minimum.

What's the difference between your quote and a "lowest bidder" quote?

Sub-base prep, rebar reinforcement, and control joint cutting on time. We've replaced many driveways from cheaper contractors who skipped these. Every line item in our quote is something that affects how long the slab lasts.

Who pays for the permit?

The permit fee is line-itemed separately in the estimate. We pull the permit, coordinate inspection, and walk you through any required steps. You pay only the city's actual permit cost — no markup from us.

What happens if the weather is bad on pour day?

We reschedule. We won't pour during rain, freeze warnings, or extreme heat (above 95°F sustained). Weather delays don't cost extra — we work with you to find the next good day.

What if I don't like how it turns out?

We do a walkthrough with you immediately after the pour and again after the cure. Any issues with the finish, control joint placement, or sealing get addressed before we leave.
